Il telo, surriscaldandosi, provoca anche bruciature alle piante e ai frutti, questo si traduce in una produzione inferiore in numero e qualità.
Tutti i teli bioplastici contengono al loro interno una percentuale di plastica variabile tra il 10% e il 20%.
Tutte le plastiche rilasciate da questi teli vengono poi disperse nel suolo e assorbite dalla pianta che li trasmette ai frutti.
